What started in 2000 as a small, renegade gathering above a bump shop in Royal Oak has evolved into North America’s largest and longest-running showcase of erotic art. For over a quarter-century, the Dirty Show® has been a fearless platform for artists around the world—celebrating sexuality, challenging taboos, and pushing the boundaries of creative expression.
Now entering its 26th year in 2026, the Dirty Show continues its legacy with a vast and provocative exhibition of more than 350 works from over 200 artists, spanning every medium—painting, photography, sculpture, digital, performance, and beyond. Each piece is a reminder that erotic art is not only relevant, but vital.
The Dirty Show is more than an exhibition. It’s an immersive experience, alive with world-class burlesque, fetish, and variety performances that ignite the stage, and unexpected spectacles designed to tease and tantalize. Every year thousands descend upon Detroit for this singular event—part gallery, part cabaret, part cultural carnival of the senses. And like every year, this upcoming show will feature surprises that can only be experienced in person, at Dirty Show.

Burlesque Extravaganza: The Dirty Show® proudly hosts a spellbinding burlesque spectacle featuring some of the nation's top-rated performers. This tantalizing display of burlesque and striptease has emerged as a show highlight, delighting enthusiasts and connoisseurs alike.
The Dirty Print Store: If the artwork in our gallery tempts your artistic sensibilities, don't miss the print store. Here we showcase thousands of additional pieces and prints, crafted by renowned erotic artists, including both past and present favorites from the show.
Diverse Entertainment: The Dirty Show has expanded its repertoire to offer an array of other captivating attractions. By popular demand, the Cinerotic Film Festival returns, presenting scintillating erotic art film projects. You'll also encounter everything from go-go dancers to a playful spanking booth, and more.
Food & Drink: Feeling thirsty or hungry? The Dirty Show® serves up a selection of libations from Detroit and national distilleries, complemented by local spirits. Multiple fully stocked bars are scattered throughout the venue, and a food vendor stands ready to satisfy your cravings.

While you're not obligated to arrive at this hour, early birds will secure closer parking and gain first access to the fantastic art on display. On-site parking is available until capacity is reached. A coat check service is provided, and it's always advisable to secure advance tickets for your ease and peace of mind.
